Sanjeev Mishra

Sanjeev, Head of Business Planning and Development is a seasoned banker and former head of Business Banking (SME Banking) at Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCBNL). He has 35+ years of experience in Nepal’s Banking Sector. Sanjeev’s expertise includes formulating strategies, policies, and procedures; and had a leading role in establishment of SME unit in SCBNL.

Sanjeev has represented SCBNL in different SME related matters and designed product papers for the bank including Business Working Capital (BWC), Special Working Capital Finance (hybrid model of Supply Chain Finance), Hotel Finance, Loan against Property (LAP). During his tenure in the Bank, he gained expertise in Sales and Marketing, Financial/Credit Analytics, Branch Banking etc. He has also gone through an extensive on-shore and off-shore trainings and workshops. Sanjeev is also an advisor to Karnali Basin Conservation Foundation, an organization involved in creating an economically thriving Karnali River Basin that balances conservation practice and development, supporting communities on their journey towards self-reliance through the development of a credible private sector.
